The origin story behind: A Tale of Two Brothers

The inspiration behind A Tale of Two Brothers is my two heavenly-bound brothers who were taken from this world far too early. Peter and Louis, who were 5 and 6 years older than me, were incredibly loved by our whole family. They have been gone from us for 50 and 43 years respectively, but they are never forgotten. I wanted to write a children's book that was inspired by their joy of life, their sense of adventure, and the tight bond between two brothers. I hope to write more stories that include family members.

Coming from a family of 10 siblings, as the youngest, I have many stories and adventures to share—real ones, imagined ones, and the kind that become family legends. I plan to write many more stories inspired by my family, sometimes keeping their names, sometimes changing them, but always carrying their spirit forward.
