The origin story behind: A Tale of the Twins' Bond

The inspiration for A Tale of the Twins’ Bond came from my sister’s twins, whose connection was something special to witness, especially when they were younger. When I asked my sister what their little personalities were like, she shared stories that perfectly captured their closeness, how they would switch clothes, share toys, comfort each other, and how one would grow upset if the other left the room, searching until they were together again.

The twins even had their own secret language, a playful mix of sounds and words that only they understood. It was as if they had built a private world between them, one that no one else could enter. Watching them communicate in that mysterious way was both heartwarming and fascinating, a true reflection of the deep bond they shared.

When the twins were four years old, I spent a summer with my sister and saw their connection firsthand. They were inseparable, and they had the most remarkable sense of humor for their age, sharing laughter, mischief, and endless curiosity. That summer stayed with me, and when I began writing children’s stories, I knew I wanted to capture that magic, their closeness, the way they would mirror each other, and find comfort simply in being side by side.
